I purchased a 5 Hp Honda outboard motor, from a sales person here, loaded the motor in my truck, I realized shortly after I had purchased a long shaft, rather than the short shaft I required. When I tried to take it back unused still in my truck, I was very rudely dismissed even when I requested to purchase a new larger unit. This dealer dumped their limited inventory on me, when I told them I would leave a negative review, they threatened me! I took a 700.00$ loss at a legitimate dealer, who pointed out, when it was placed in my truck, it was wrong side up, draining out the oil. Never trust customer service here for good after sales support Chris Singh is the sales manager that utterly dismissed any concerns I had, I’m not sure if it’s new management, but I have never been treated so disrespectfully with such disregard to business etiquette! I also contacted Honda Canada who was very quick to advise they were a privately owned dealership with more than one negative review! Thank You to Honda dealer in Barry for their wonderful customer service, and the purchase of my new 15 HP outboard!

Just a quick thanks to Mike and all his staff for getting my warranty work done as quickly as they did!! As always they definitely do the best they can to please. I have dealt with this dealership for years from sales to service and they never disappoint!

In the Spring of ‘23 I purchased a new CT125 and worked with Carrie Bene. Carrie worked hard to get me on the road as soon as the bike came in. I felt excellent leaving Clarington Honda as I was able to ride for the weekend coming. Fall of ‘23 I returned for an EU3200i purchase. Initially speaking with Carrie again in regards to a purchase, at the time I had arrived to make the purchase out schedules could not meet. Jeff Kerr was able to write it up and get me on my way swiftly at short notice. The Generator did have a Bluetooth connectivity issue, when I did return with concerns, Mike Clayton, Wesley Ramirez, Andre Besner, Paul Wandili, and Nigel Schaffer dropped what they were doing to try to fix the issue at hand. The Generator did have to be booked in for service, but the technician (do not recall his name) was able to resolve the issue. Overall a pleasant experience with my sales experience and post sales experience.

Put a $1,000 deposit down on 07/06/2022 for a new Civic TYPE R. I was told I was first and at the time only person on a wait list. They were honest and stated they may not even get one due to limited availability. A few months later I was contacted that they were allocated one unit but had no estimated delivery date but that I needed to come in to complete deal. Once there I was advised I had to buy the winter package, security package, use in house financing, and supply a trade they wanted or I would be passed over. They low balled me on the trade in, but we came to a tentative agreement to be finalized when the car arrived as they couldn't take my trade until the car arrived. . Some time later I was told the dealer knew how rare the type R was and they had to consider the best deal for themselves. I went in on October 7, 2023 to retrieve my deposit having become frustrated with the the wait and choosing to move on,. When I asked if they had ever received the car, suspicious that they had, I was told that it had come in and was sold to the person ahead of me on the list. They could sell me the preowned 2019 on the floor, or I could maintain my spot on the list by leaving my deposit. I declined, as the list was far from trustworthy, and they certainly didn't seem to have any concerns sitting on my deposit. You just lost any chance of a repeat customer. Terrible customer service from Darin DAVID, and the Management Staff.

Really happy working with a pair of Mohammad Usufi and Hannah. Mohammad gave me really good price on my used civic. I visited 4-5 different honda’s of GTA but only he managed to give me highest value of my used vehicle and lowest interest on vehicle i purchased from his dealership. Definitely suggesting Clarigton honda to friends & family.

I used to have a lot of trust in this dealership until my last visit. I was told I needed front brakes and pads at a whopping $700!!! I passed and took it to a local mechanic who was going to charge me significantly less. Well, as it turned out my brakes were fine and did not need to be replaced. This dealership lied and cannot be trusted. I will never bring either of my Honda vehicles here ever again, you lost a long term customer. Other's beware.
